PROJECT:
GRAY is a design and culture magazine that explores the global design landscape through compelling and authoritative content around architecture, interiors, landscape, product design, and fashion. With its perceptive storytelling focused on ingenuity and design excellence, it serves to inform and engage readers about the international design scene and to contextualize its influence on contemporary culture.

While at GRAY I worked on a variety of projects and platforms. I supported GRAY’s print and digital presence, designing editorial ads, animating social media posts, and photographing design objects; and also supported efforts to redesign the GRAY website, creating and designing page layouts for graymag.com︎︎︎.

Branding

The GRAY Awards is a cross-disciplinary, regionally focused design competition started by GRAY Magazine in 2017.

I was asked to refresh the existing awards logo, with a mark that would retain echoes of the previous design but with a fresh and refined form. I removed extraneous lines to streamline the logo and made subtle but impactful adjustments to create a tighter, bolder brand mark.
